The students in our integrated co-teaching classroom are working hard to become strong readers. Our students come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Several of them are still learning English and many have a disability that makes learning more challenging for them. Due to these challenges, several of our students are reading below grade level. We see many of our students becoming reluctant to read in class because they feel frustrated by how difficult the process is for them. We want to help our students stay motivated to continue reading and hopefully to help them grow into students who love to read.

About my class
