My advanced students (40) are initiating an organic sanctuary for our school of approximately 1300 students. The produce from the garden will enhance our school's cafeteria salad bar. Healthier Student Body-yes our students are trying to build a culture of wellness at LCMS. Students' helped prepare/analyze the soil, plant the crops, researched the plants and their nutritional value. These students will teach their peers about all aspects of gardening and the value of healthy eating through TV ads and an environmental day.

About my class
