My school has a free and reduced lunch program that 84% of our students utilize. They have dealt with more instability, alcoholism, drug-use, death and gang-related violence by the time they leave our school at the age of twelve than I have seen in my entire lifetime. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, I usually get hired late in the school year, if at all, so feel confident in the fact that every single dollar you freely give with your heart will be multiplied when it is given to these kids. They come with barely anything and I don't want to give them a fish, I want to teach them to fish. You helping me, helps them! Thank you!
