My students are from local high schools in the 11th and 12th grades. Students in my class choose to study Multimedia or Game Design. Multimedia students study - Computer Literacy, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Graphic Design, Animation, Photography, Video Editing and Production. Game Design students study - Computer Literacy, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Graphic Design, Animation, GameDesign, 3D Modeling and computer programming. My students are learning computer programming through the development of phone and device apps. They are excited when new technology is used in the classroom and when they can use hands-on skills to complete projects. They are from high poverty areas and come to the technology center to learn Information Technology skills.
