Our school is a Title I K-12 School. There are approximately 80 second grade students at my school and I teach all subject areas. Low socioeconomic status impacts academic levels and our school has that additional challenge as many students are performing below grade level. In addition, most of our students are minorities and many are English Language Learners (ELL). In my class alone, 100% of my class are minorities and over 75% of my students are ELL speaking four different languages. Donorschoose will give our students additional support and opportunities they need to help them achieve.
