Kindergarteners are curious, social and tech-savvy. The iPad chargers will help keep the iPads I have in my room charged and easy for my students to find and charge without needing help from an adult. The iPads have programs on them that help my students stay challenged and focused at their own ability level. Play is so important in early education. By using the STEM chain reaction kit, students will be able to work in a collaborative, small group setting. They can build and explore with only their imagination and curiosity to guide them. This activity will help foster social skills and communication skills for all my students. Most of my books on tape are on cassette. I do not have an operational cassette listening center in my classroom. With this new listening center, my students will get to enjoy all the wonderful stories I have on cassette, as well as the stories I have on CDs. I am firm believer that people learn better when they are using more than just one sense when learning. Listening centers allow my students to listen the story, look at the print, and read along with the audio.
