I teach math and science to grades 6-11. At the the "Country School" grades 6-8 learn to care for the plants and animals on campus in addition to their academic studies. At the high school, my geometry class spends much of its time building geometric shapes, walking around polygons taped on the floor, using trig ratios and similar triangles to calculate the height of the flagpole, etc.
