Curious, sweet and smart, my students come to school every day to leave behind the baggage that comes with growing up in one of the most violent cities in America. At our school, and in my classroom, we are working hard to create a strong community where we work together to have a warm and welcoming environment. In our classroom, we strive to treat each other well so that we can all learn together and meet our goals of going to college, becoming stronger writers and being the best third grade in North America.
