Our school shares a music teacher with nine other schools, which leaves our class with the music instructor for only 45 minutes, and only for six weeks, not much time! I would like to be able to fulfill the state standard in music which states- read, write, and perform rhythmic notation and classify how a variety of instruments from diverse cultures produce sound. At the present moment there are not enough instruments for every student and receiving instruments for the entire class (35) will allow the class to all play in one accord, creating memories that they can cherish.
