Palmdale High School is having its first annual signing day! A huge rally in our football stadium will take place as graduating seniors are acknowledged on their college acceptance! Each senior accepted will be celebrated in front of the entire student body, encouraging 9th, 10th, and 11th graders to believe in themselves that they too can apply and be accepted to a four year university. Many fun opportunities will be given to these seniors in appreciation of their hard work and accomplishments and we will also celebrate all who applied. For this portion of the rally, each student who applied to college and FAFSA received two tickets for a raffle to be completed at the College Signing Rally. We will pull thirteen tickets, and the tablets will be raffled to a future college student! These tablets are highly important because these students have done so much to get to where they are, and given that our students are from a lower socio-economic community, we would like to give them these tablets as resources for their college work, helping them to be prepared. The students who win, will be able to use their tablets in their rigorous years in college.
