When you walk into a classroom at our urban Title 1 school, you see a beautiful mix of many languages and cultures. My students represent 5 different continents (we are missing Australia...and Antarctica!) I teach 3rd and 4th graders who all speak another language at home. My students have the challenge of mastering grade level content, while learning English. These English Language Learners are so excited to practice their new language of English as they learn about the world around them.

About my class
