The majority of my students are Hispanic from low socio-economic homes and about 85% of our school population is on free or reduced lunch. They attend a Title 1 school in the great state of North Carolina. A large amount of students and families are bilingual. Many students in my classroom are reading 1-3 years below grade level in reading. While my students have started off the year right with a passion for learning, I would love to be able to increase that passion to create a momentum that can't be stopped!
