The goal for this project is that students understand what they can do if they know how to code. This project allows for them to see the basics (pre-knowledge about circuits) while creating their own greeting card before we move into devices that they can program on a computer. To teach them the components of a circuit, I will create a lesson around making light-up greeting cards using Chibitronics LED Stickers. Students will create simple circuits using copper tape and batteries on card stock, then create a greeting card that utilizes the Chilbi LED lights-completing circuit. I need glue guns for lab stations to create these cards and boxes to store the supplies for groups of students. If we continue to serve students in at home learning next year, these kits can go home. This is to cover supplies for 180 students a year, though I'm hoping to reuse the LED stickers going through the following year and for multiple classes before they have to be disposed (up to 350 students a year). Glue Guns and boxes will be used going forward
