I have a classroom of 25 five year old children, who are energetic about learning and truly love having books read to them each and every day. One of my students came to school today and read his first book to his friends, it brought tears to my eyes! Several of the students mentioned to me that they were going to go home and ask their parents to help them practice reading a book so they could also read to their friends....this is why I do what I do....teach!
