My students are intellectually gifted 2nd and 3rd graders in a high-poverty K-3 school. The majority of our students are culturally disadvantaged. Despite a low socio-economic status, my talented students have a deep curiosity and strong desire to learn. They are naturally inquisitive and have a wide range of interests. My students are creative learners who require and deserve challenging learning opportunities.
