First Graders learn best by being actively engaged. My class is part of a Title 1 school in North Carolina. First Grade is an exciting time when they are learning how to read their favorite books independently. They still need lots of hands on experience to grasp Math concepts. Social Studies and Science are also lots of fun as they are curious about the world around them.
