Many of our students face great challenges daily. 65% receive free or reduced lunch. For some, these are the best meals they receive all day. We have taken on a health initiative at our school. We are promoting healthy choices and encouraging our students to get moving. The school is truly a community school and we embrace our students and families. As a result, a once overgrown garden area is being reborn into a health-promoting science garden where healthy eating, healthy living, and science education are hands-on and fun!

About my class
