Our campus is 93% low income, 91% Spanish speaking and right now we are below state and federal expectations. My students appreciate things that are "cool" and "up-to-date!" Unfortunately, those type things are few and far in between. I personally try to provide as much innovation as I can out of my own pocket but a teacher's salary can only go so far. The stereo we have is very temperamental, it may or may not work. When it works, the students are happy and more energetic and it's sad when they ask are going to play music in PE today and I have to say no, "it's not working again." So, this is why for the sake of my little people I am reaching out to you for assistance. All would be appreciated by myself, as well as this campus.
