We are small district comprised of two rural counties. The students come from a variety of backgrounds and income levels. The students are like little sponges and crave knowledge. They get excited about learning things that are "real". Currently I am teaching them the song "America", and they are also learning sign language to it. They are doing so wonderfully. I know the books we have requested will aid them in understanding more about their country. Pictures and picture books are the best way to show them their world.

About my class
