My students attend a middle-income, suburban public school in California. They are active and social and need more options for creative play during recess and the time remaining after lunch. Currently, we only have one play set for over 600 students (grades 1-5) to use on a daily basis. Studies have shown that a wide-range of physical activities offered to students can help their academic performance, as well as promote healthy child development.
