Like every state, there are impoverished school districts. We are expanding our school to include 8th grade next year. This was our first year with 7th grade in the building. We want so much to make our new middle school a success for our students. Many are just moving out of bilingual education. I need to revamp my classroom so it is organized, effective, and manifest a more mature learning environment. My students need to understand that even though they are still in the same building, they are in fact in middle school now. We just don't have extra supplies in the building to accommodate this expansion.
