My students are fantastic and full of potential! Our school is a rapidly improving elementary campus for kindergarten through sixth grade in a large urban district. Most children come from low income households, often with limited access to literature, technology and enrichment activities. The students on my caseload have been identified with speech and language disabilities and require special support to fully access their educational program. They may struggle to pronounce words correctly or be understood. They may have a hard time independently and effectively expressing their feeling and ideas. They may stutter or have difficulty maintaining appropriate volume or vocal quality.
