My students are my pride and joy. I love them like they are my own children. My students are first graders in a Title 1 school in New York City, which means most of my students receive free lunch and are from low income families. My students are hardworking and have leadership qualities. Some of my students struggle with reading and writing, which makes it very stressful for my students to meet Common Core State Standards.
