My students are unstoppable! I serve Resource students in kindergarten through second grade in a very small rural community with extremely high poverty rates. When my students enter the class, they are excited to see what the day has in store! Our school is an integral and active part of our community and because of this relationship, students come to school with an openness to learn. I seek out ways in which to keep student interest in learning alive and active, while teaching to my students' strengths. I feel fortunate to be a part of such a caring and supportive community of learners, educators, and families.
