I am a firm believer in cooperative/collaborative learning. I feel that students learn best from one another, and what better way to do that with classroom furniture that promots collaboration and team work. It is my goal to replace our stagnant furniture with mobility furniture and provide learning spaces for all my students. This would greatly benifit my students by allowing them the ease to create collaboritve learning spaces that best meets their needs and facilitates cooperative learning. It is my hope that they will have the opportunity to use furniture that will allow them to easily participate in Inquiry and Project-Based Learning as well as STEM projects.
