My students are energetic and creative 3rd graders with unique perspectives on the world. My Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom is comprised of a diverse group of students, including English Language Learners, Special Education students and recent immigrants from Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Dominican Republic and Bangladesh. They love learning about the world they live in and the lives of the people both near and far from their neighborhood in the Bronx. This year's Social Studies curriculum focuses on cultures and communities around the world. Before we journey to other cultures, students will explore and share traditions from their own culture.
