Most of the students in my Grade 1-2 autism classroom are non-verbal or minimally verbal. They respond to pictures, assistive technology, and specially designed programs that are often only accessible online. In some cases, the technology helps them to meet their sensory needs, such as visual or auditory stimulation. Won't you help us provide access to our exceptionally "au-some" students? These students are capable of so much, given the chance! We use programs such as Unique Learning, TeachTown, WordWall, BoomCards, and TinyTap, as well as the website I've created for classroom use. They will be able to access these resources using the iPads with protective cases that we are requesting.
