Before I graduated from college, a friend gave me a great piece of advice: no matter what you do with your life; just make sure you surround yourself with smart people who challenge you. If she had told me those people would turn out to be an excited group of six-year-olds, I never would have believed her! My students come from all different backgrounds, and are curious, kind, and actively engaged in hands-on learning!
