Our school is a public, neighborhood high school within the Chicago Public Schools district. We serve close to 1300 students from across the city through our neighborhood seats, our International Baccalaureate programs, and our fine arts magnet programs. And with one of the most diverse student bodies in the country, our students are a true reflection of the diversity and energy that makes Chicago great. Senn is devoted to the ideal of providing all children with a quality education. Three years ago we became the first Wall-to-Wall IB school in the city--a pioneering project to offer the internationally-minded and inquiry-based IB curriculum to all of our students. Since then, we have continued to overcome trends facing similar urban high schools. Our school enrollment and our students' test scores have increased every year while serving a population that is nearly 90% low-income and which also includes significant groups of English Learners and Special Education students.
