The GeekSquad will provide a service to the school community by providing IT support to teachers and students. Our first goal is to get the teachers' workstations and student workstations (2 per room) up and running. Students will use the Surface Tablets to keep track of the services they have provided for teachers. The squad members will use the surface tablets for ongoing training on new software and educational tools. Squad members will use the tablets to search real-time for solutions to problems they encounter as they work with teachers and students with equipment issues. The tablets will also provide a way to communicate with each other and with me if they need assistance while responding to a request for service without wasting time having to track us down. This project has already improved communication skills for some team members. They are so proud to part of a squad that is greatly appreciated and respected by our staff. Please help me to continue to develop students 21st Century Skills by fully funding our project!
