It's crucial that students are able to move up reading levels during the school year. Many students are below grade level in reading due to lack of practice or desire. This year engagement in reading has been difficult but promising. When we use this MacBook Pro, reading will be very enjoyable. Students will become amazing readers with self-confidence and a deeper desire for reading. They will also be able to write and do more in-depth analysis of their reading as well. This project will make a difference in the lives of my seventh grade readers. By having a MacBook Pro in our classroom, they can hear audio books which will be extraordinary. I will download apps that will help my students learn and improve their reading which I know can be the difference that helps them truly enjoy reading. They will also be able to participate in Google classroom where all of their reading responses can be live and they can see their peer and teacher feedback. This computer will change their life. My students will be able to work in groups or individually in order to read and listen to books on their level. Students will begin to move up levels and be able to compete with their peers in the literacy world. They will become more articulate and aware of the world through literature, news, poetry, and the use of other mediums to enhance their understanding of major reading skills like theme, author's craft, central idea and building vocabulary.
