l teach Kindergarten in a Title 1 school in Florida. My class is filled with children that are eager to learn. Most students arrive without having any preschool experience. Their families often don't have the resources at home to help them gain the skills they need to be successful readers. Budget cuts have made it impossible to buy any extras for our classroom. I often buy supplies for my classroom with my own money, but I have not been able to afford to replace the 15 year old carpet.
