All of my students are receiving special education services for a variety of reasons. I work with students who have learning impairments, Autism, specific learning disabilities, speech and language disorders and a multitude of other "disabilities." We do not refer to my students as having disabilities, but rather they all have abilities. Each one is special and unique. My students are in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5. We have a range of ability levels but one thing is for sure- every one of them can and does succeed! We use technology on a near daily basis. This ranges from laptops, to iPads, to digital cameras. Some of our work is done in my classroom (the resource room) and some of it is done in the general education classroom within a co-teaching environment.
