My students are in fifth grade language arts/reading class. This year, my students are eager to read different kinds of books from all genres. Their reading level varies from 2.5 to 5.5 grade equivalent level. My class is mostly comprised of English language learners and all students are receiving special education services. Our goal is for the students to improve their literacy and reading comprehension skills by providing high interest books at different reading levels.
