This is a classroom with students who would like to study a language other than English. American Sign Language is the third most used language in the United States. This elective class is full of dedicated students ranging in years of study from Level 1 to Level 4. Level 4 students who show proficiency in both English and American Sign Language receive a Bilingual diploma, the first of its kind in the state of California. All students involved in this elective class contribute personal time to the Deaf Community during each year of study.
