This group of first graders are eager to learn. We have so much to cover in first grade and these students enjoy coming to school to learn. Many of these students come from different backgrounds and face many hardships. A majority of our students are on free and reduced lunch. These students can't help the hardships they face, but as a classroom teacher I want to create a safe and enjoyable environment where students are comfortable and ready to learn.
