My seventh grade students are being prepared for high school. They need a considerable amount of exposure to computers to familiarize themselves with all the capabilities of computers: word processing, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Internet research and other software. A scheduled appointment once every two or three weeks isn't enough experience with computers. The students need their own computers.
