Have you every tried drinking 4 cups of coffee then sitting and listening to a lecture for more than an hour? That may be just the amount of energy 27 first graders have! First grade is a HUGE learning year. This year, my class has students from all backgrounds and experiences. Our school is amazing! We have the most caring, fun staff you'll meet! Our social economic status is low, which provides all students free breakfast and lunch. Our community is very giving and helpful! We have volunteers who come in weekly, fantastic after school programs, business who donate when possible, and parents /teachers who work tirelessly to help their children reach their potentials and beyond! However, after years of helping, volunteering and spending our own money, we are in need!
