I work in East Palo Alto, California, in a very high need area. My students are incredibly hard working and enthusiastic about learning, but I do not always have the resources to give them everything they need at school. Leveled books, for example, are critical as students learn to read independently. The families of the 24 boys and girls I work with often do not have the resources to buy leveled books. With a complete library at school, students could begin making the progress I know they are capable of! As important as books are, technology is also crucial to the future of my students. Too often, these families do not have the resources to obtain the technology their children need. My students and I would be so appreciative of any help you can give us. Thank you for caring about these amazing kids!

About my class
