My students live in a very small town in Pennsylvania. The majority of my students come from families that qualify for free or reduced lunch. A small town, where football is everything. In fact, high school means everything to many, including a hot lunch. My students range from 14 to 18 years of age. I have found that students enjoy my projects but I also feel that they would enjoy projects if there was more meaning to them. A project that they do about themselves and can take it with them. If I relate it to them, then I've got their attention and all objectives of the lessons are grasped. Good kids. Hardworking kids. The majority of our graduating class goes on to some type of secondary schooling. Most are involved in extra-curricular activities. Small town, big dreams, high hopes. Pretty "cool".
