Most of our students come from low-income households and have limited experiences. I would like to provide an experience of hands on science, actually doing the science, creating slides, and being able to see the world that surrounds us! Most of the students will have never had these experiences, ever! The first time using a microscope can be illuminating! It is also a standard that is necessary for my students' futures in science! These children do not even realize what they are missing, and what opportunities that may have in the field of science! Please consider, they are such great kids, and are ever so thankful for the tiniest of things!
