I teach Kindergarten at a K-5 school serving an urban population of around 520 students. Our school is very diverse, with students from countries and cultures around the world. My school district is one of the largest in the state and is currently on its second year in fiscal distress. There are four kindergarten classrooms within my school and each classroom has 20 students. I teach students with a wide range of learning abilities.
