VCS is a K-8 Expeditionary Learning School. Our students come primarily from Vallejo, but since we are a public charter school, we have kids from neighboring cities as well. As a result, VCS is both ethnically and economically diverse. The Vallejo City Unified School District, like many school districts, is struggling financially. Our schools just increased class size to 32 students in all grades. In spite of this, VCS students will continue to do well. Our commitment to creating academic scholars and fine citizens is apparent in everything we do.
