My request is for a Cricut machine to use in my classroom for several purposes. The Cricut can be used to create individualized flash cards, writing prompts, bulletin boards, math manipulatives and creative extension projects. Additionally, I would use the machine to print alphabet letters in a variety of sizes and materials. I would also create images to match to letters by beginning, middle, or ending sounds. These letters and pictures would be used by my beginning readers for hands-on literacy games and activities. With all this being said, having a Cricut machine would greatly decrease the amount of time I spend prepping and allow me to focus on teaching.
