I teach first graders at a public elementary school in central Arkansas. My kids come from the community, but are also bussed in from the metropolitan areas surrounding our community. I teach kids of all economic levels from lower to upper-middle class. My kids come from a variety of backgrounds and parenting styles/situations from very involved to not involved at all. But one thing that all my kids have in common is that they want to succeed in school. Most of the kids I work with have a love for learning and school, and I feel it is my job to do everything I can to keep that love for learning alive!
