I teach around 20eager, happy, sunshiny, enthusiastic 2nd graders at a school that is 98% Hispanic and very low income. Trying to teach the normal 2nd grade curriculum to these disadvantaged yet happy students is made even more challenging by the fact that they generally come in with very little English skills or background. To make things even more difficult, my amazing students also lack the basic supplies needed to make everyday school more productive.

About my class
