Having an Android tablet will give my students the ability to test apps that they will develop using Thunkable--a drag and drop mobile app development platform. Students will first gather information from their community about the types of problems that can be solved using a mobile app. Then they will work in collaborative groups to develop a solution that involves the creative design of an app that will be help the community. Students need to be able to test their app on a tablet. Finally, after they have finished testing their app, they will market their app to the community.
