I am a Second grade teacher of many eager and enthusiastic students! My school is located in an inner-city with high poverty and high crime rates. My students have experienced many struggles and traumatic events in their short lives. I teach 23 students in an inclusive classroom. I have students that are academically on a kindergarten level and above grade level. I have students from mixed families, being raised by a single parent, being raised by grandparents, being one of many siblings, etc.
