I work in a suburban elementary school in Virginia. My school has a diverse population and has students with varying needs. Like any child, no one student learns the same way. When I give directions in my class, students who are not auditory learners can very easily tune out important information. For students who are visual learners, viewing a worksheet or assignment being held by me would limit the amount of information they are able to process because the print and/or visuals are too small. This is where document cameras can be very beneficial.
