I am currently teaching at Loesche Elementry School in Northeast Philadelphia, in the same neighborhood that I grew up in. I am extremely committed to educating the children of Philadelphia. My efforts have not gone unnoticed, as Governor Wolf and his wife joined Mayor Nutter and Superintendent Dr. Hite in vising my classroom last year. My students were incredibly excited and honored to greet the Governor, Mayor, and Superintendent and really showed them how much they have grown during the past school year. They did not waver as they worked on a measuring activity, even with news cameras in their faces. One student even bravely stood up and told the Governor's wife how "lovely" she looked (so sweet). I was so proud of them! I am excited to begin the next chapter of my teaching career with my students at Loesche Elementry!
